Followit MRS transponder

The Followit MRS transponder is a multi-functional GSM/GPS device for locating positions. It has a variety of built-in programs and it is possible to administrate it by SMS through Internet with mTrack admin tool or a mobile phone. The Followit transponder includes GSM, GPS and a memory to store positioning data. It is the size of a match box (40x80x29mm). The Followit Adventure transponder needsl be fitted with battery and GSM antenna. 

Information provided by the transponder is: Identity of the transponder, Mode (eg alarm mode), Longitude, Latitude, Velocity, Route/Direction, Speed, UTC time, Date. For personal protection the transponder is equipped with an alarm which is set off manually by a push of a button or automatically triggered. When the positioning is only needed occasionally, you can program the transponder to make it use as little power as possible. Applications include logistics, control of valuable property, theft protection, positioning of animals and people and personal safety.

Followit applications 

The Followit unit is easily portable from one car to another. It is also portable by people or other non-automotives entities. It is remotely configurable by the user simply sending an SMS by mobile phone. It can be tracked via Internet. 

The unit will notify your mobile phone immediately that it has been moved. The unit can also send regular position fixes of its new location (i.e. real time tracking). Tracking can be displayed on a map using Internet (mTrack license). The unit sends alert when device goes in or out of a specified area. 

Speed limits: Followit can be configured to report if a car is traveling over a certain speed. 

Keeping a watchful eye on children or elderly people: Followit can be set up to report if it has not reached a certain destination by a certain time. It can be called to find out where it is. 

Alarm function: By pressing manually the alarm button, a report is sent to a mobile phone or a central security station.
